I loved Bryant's comment in an interview on MLbN. He concentrated on hitting the mistake pitches. Shows a good mindset at the plate.

who is the dude that kc just drafted?

A guy I would have been pissed with at 41.

Worse than the Simpson pick.

Really.

@ESPNBruceLevine: The Cubs had Mark Appel no 1 and Kris Bryant 2.

Which is what Marlin said a day ago. Damn, I wonder who the hell that guy is?

abty seems to just throw a ton of stuff out there that may or may not be true, but marlin is definitely somebody to listen to.

I think Moore is trying to get fired at this point.

Bruce always seems to have the same info as Marlin.

Didn't PSD speculate for a while that Marlin was Levine?

Pretty sure Marlin has direct connection to someone in the Cubs FO, might even be a family member(s) in there.

@keithlaw: Two years, and yes. RT @micbruce: @keithlaw When could Bryant be ready for Big Leagues?  Is Vitters done?

In KC's possible defense, maybe they're planning on taking Manaea at 34 now and wanted to save money to get him? Of course, they could have just taken him at 8.

So if Bryant gets to KC this year, what happens to Jeimer? Move to 1B? What happens next year when both will likely be ready for Daytona? Obviously Bryant is getting priority at 3B, but what's Jeimer's next position?

They're crying poor again. I doubt they spend a ton on another guy.

Suck it people who wanted somebody else!!!

Probably the first time ever the cubs took the guy I wanted them to take.

Who'd you want last year?

I'm pretty happy with the pick despite my last minute change of heart. Same reasons I wanted Bryant to begin with.

I know it's probably gonna take that long but it's such a buzz kill to think about.

Manaea had has hip, ankle, and most importantly, shoulder injuries this year. That's beyond stupid if that is their plan.

I thought the word was that his shoulder was fine.

Soler

Bryant/Baez

Almora

If I had to pick between Bryant and Baez, I put Bryant ahead due to the superior approach.

So, I guess I'm really at:

Soler

Bryant

Baez

Almora

Can we at least count on Bryant to be a better 3B than Vitters?

Nah, Law has him at 38, BA at 39.

Simpson was in the 151-200 range.

Yeah, I think that's true for me too. Wow.
