The announcers are doing a masterful job of explaining Wood's luck this season without flat-out saying "he's a mediocre pitcher getting insanely lucky."

Same guys that continue to tell us that John Danks is really good....

Just going by PitcFX, it seems like Castro is getting a ton of cutters thrown at him recently.

Any specific locations they are throwing them on him? Low/high, inside/outside?

I'm gonna need to find Hawk's call on that one

No Hawk, just Stone.

Did anyone hear what Stone had to say?

Did you he the shot Farmer put on Castro yesterday? Something about being impossible to walk him. Funny coming from a team that has a shortstop that walked 16 times the entire year last season, has exactly 1 more walk than Castro this year.

Cubs with 15 runs over the past game and a half. 10 are courtesy of Dioner Navarro and Travis Wood

And 22 runs over the last 2.5 games

I might actually be excited about this team...would be more excited if we didnt have such a big hole to dig out of. Even with the 6 game losing streak taken into account the Cubs are 9-8 in their last 17 games if we can finish this one today.

Pretty sure Kyle was talking about Len and JD and he wasn't being derisive or sour about it.

That doesn't mean he's wrong. It is currently almost impossible to walk Castro.

Long drive, well hit left field. It's a grand slam (very dejectedly).

Len and JD are on the TV broadcast.

I've got Stoney!?

Switched to WGN now...although it was fun watching them struggle with the butt whipping! If Hawk was there I'd have to keep listening!

Looks like Castillo needs sliding practice also.
