And guess who's umpiring today's Cubs game (assuming he's working the home plate)? So, at least we have that going for us today...

Yes. I heard it multiple times and I'm surprised they are allowing it..

Moreland and this other idiot are having a moronic discussion about BABIP right now.

That came soon after Moreland repeating several times that the Cubs need more slugging percentage to come back in today's game. I get the idea that he was trying to say they need some extra base hits, but he just never gets it quite right. That's kind of like having a batter come to the plate in a game winning situation with a runner on third and saying, "The Cubs could really use some batting average here!"

As depressing as this season is I really appreciate how Len & JD can often still make the games at least listenable.

Did they do different variations? I heard the one before the 9th and it was something like "so and so reviews Fast and Furious 6, Cubs zero". They always try to be overly clever with those Garry Meier promos though.

That may have been it, I just know it was a promo that ended with the number six, and then a quick "Cubs zero" comment.
