Kozma was going all the way. Sweeney fielded the ball and squared up like he was going to throw home, but then fired a perfect throw to second. Carpenter hadn't severely overrounded the bag or anything, but he got caught by half a step trying to get back.

Clean single to left, Kozma is going to score easily so Sweeney threw behind Carpenter (rounded back hard to go to third if the throw went home) and got him trying to go back to second.
