Looking over I Cub stats, in a small sample size, Yoanner Negrin has a very nice line of 7.2. IP, 2/13 BB/K 0.00 ERA and 0.78 WHIP. Plus in his mugshot he looks insanely like Angel Guzman, so there's that.

I can't say that I am at all hopeful for Maples. Terrible start to his career. I hope he turns into something but he was a reach.

The guy was projected to be a late 1st round to supplemental round talent. He fell due to what was considered a rock-solid commit to UNC. But he was considered one of the very best HS arms in that draft. It doesn't appear its working out for us, but if the draft were the same way, its a play I make over and over and over again.
