just depressing that's all I can say, not mad because I didn't expect much this year... this is some sad [expletive]...

This team just might be worse than last year. Yeah it's early, but this bullpen is a utter mess, the bench is poor, and the Cubs can't score runs.

and seriously Pat is annoying to listen to when they lose like this. I know I'm projecting but it seems like he's starting to enjoy these losses out of morbid humor

 

I've always thought Pat was annoying, especially when things were going bad. There's too much excitement in his voice when a great play happens that doesn't benefit the Cubs.

 

Also seems to fake me out on potential Cubs HR a lot.

This made me laugh because a) I totally know the voice you are referring to and b) Pat seems so wholesome its hilarious to think of him taking pleasure in losing

Pat takes pleasure in living life and his life happens to be very closely associated with a lot of baseball games the Cubs have lost.

I just don't like it... when one of our players gets robbed of a hit or something and he shows excitement about it, it pisses me off.
