First time I've listened to the new TV combo. Not a big fan of Deshaies' voice. Not very strong. Hopefully the analysis is good.

Deshaies is awesome.

Had the "great first inning for feldman!" post all ready, too.

At least Starlin made contact. More than Sappelt or Rizzo can say.

At least Rizzo actually attempted to work a proper at bat.

Eh, Starlin swung at a strike and took it to the warning track. Sure, it'd be nice if it came on the 5th pitch of the AB. But he saw a pitch he liked and almost got enough of it.......[expletive] Upton, that ball was killed.

*shakes fist at Kevin Towers*

Gameday had that pitch as a borderline strike.

EDIT: Or "Definitely a ball" given ball 2 and 3 to Freeman.

Looked like a double to the gap off the bat to me. Hit hard obviously, but for this park I didn't expect that to go.

a joke of a HR would be a bloop fly that lands in the first row of the Crawford Boxes. A frozen rope line drive into alley that lands in the first row of the stands is anything but a joke HR

joke of a HR

Why?

Seeing the Uptons right now hurts like watching Cespedes.

Who would we have traded for Justin?

[expletive] warning track flyouts.

See, the Cubs have CRUSHED 3 ball so far with nothing to show for.

Upton should have a double, but has a HR.

Whatever

He would have deserved a HR more if he'd just missed the ball and gotten some loft on it. Hitting it too square means he is undeserving.
