Yeah they are laying a major egg (OSU)

 

No, they're playing poorly, like they've been doing for the entire tournament. This is the best opponent they've faced so far in the tournament, and they are playing accordingly.

Oh my god. It just sat there on the rim. That might be the dagger.

 

After an offensive board also so they killed off over a minute of clock as well.

They still were. The NCAAs being used as the be-all end-all measure for conferences is an annual source of annoyance for me.

I see your point however, I really believed they'd have two teams in the Final Four further validating the Big Ten as the best.

It's been 4 years since a conference had two Final Four teams - and before that it had been another 4 years. It just doesn't happen that much.

Should Michigan lose tommorrow we'll hear about the conference not being the best, etc. However, if one looks at the tournament maybe there is evidence of the Big Ten's excellence. Just look at what Minnesota and Illinois did to higher seeded teams. Hell, if DJ Richardson hits a shot or two they beat what many considered to be the best team in the nation. And Minnesota kicked the [expletive] out of UCLA.

Michigan's win probability dipped to 0.6 with 2:33 left, down ten. That was one in a hundred—one in two hundred. Trey's shot took Michigan from 10% to just over 30%.
