Man, I'm going to be annoyed if Arizona is 3 seeds higher than UCLA and gets to play one state away (that isn't to say UCLA doesn't deserve being a 7 or an 8).

Those are some annoying ass 8 seeds that are going to give the 1s some trouble. UNLV, Memphis and NC State are athletic teams with some length that will all probably lose but will be very tough outs.

I'm pretty confident we'll miss on Miami (they look likely to be a 2 at this point and might even leapfrog to a 1 - the committee chair on CBS earlier today said the 1 line wasn't decided), but what're you gonna do?

I think we're off a seed on Ohio State, who could just as well be swapped with Michigan at this point. Other than that, though, I don't see a seed Miami should jump.

Can easily be done if we'd like. I agree with you.

ETA: That also creates a heck of an interesting storyline in Michigan/Harvard. And while the committee never says they go after storylines, we've seen lots of evidence that they like to.

I'm a little afraid of recency bias, but I'm inclined to agree as well. OSU did nothing in noncon, but they did much better in Big Ten play (beat Indiana on the road, beat Wisky beat MSU twice, didn't lose to a terrible team like PSU)

This is proof that you don't have to go after storylines for them to pop up.

Oof, UCLA in round two is scary.

UCLA was going to win one and then be eliminated when Jordan Adams was healthy. Now I doubt they'll win even one game now.

I've seen some projections with UCLA playing Wichita St in a possible 6/11 or 7/10 matchup. As a shockers fan, I would like that.

Duke knocked back to the 2 line. That should guarantee IU a 1.

Yeah. Either KU or Miami got the other one (I would put KU there but I have a feeling it's Miami).

Miami has some awful losses this year. More than any others among the top 16 (and KU has one as well, but Miami has multiple).

I agree, but the committee seems to always fall in love with the top ACC teams (Duke in 2010 and '11 for instance)

I'm stunned about Oregon still. Honestly I thought they might have been edging close to the bubble before the Pac 12 tourney, but a 12 seed is insane. They played their way into the field this weekend.

Have we out and out missed anybody yet?

I don't think we've been off by more than 2 seeds on anyone we put in. Middle Tenn is our only miss.

How are they a miss? They were in the last S-Curve from today.

Oh, I had Tennessee on my bracket where I meant Mid Tenn. Then we haven't missed anyone. And I doubt we will.

We nailed all 68, and except for that ridiculous Pitt 8 seed, we were within 2 on all of them I believe. This is an awesome bracket.
