ESPN apologizes for Musburger's fascination: "We always try to capture interesting storylines and the relationship between an Auburn grad who is Miss Alabama and the current Alabama quarterback certainly met that test. However, we apologize that the commentary in this instance went too far and Brent understands that."

Does losing to Bama by 4 touchdowns count as getting that close to a title? Because Mizzou has that down already.

Haha. I love the mizzou fans turned sec fan boys. My conference, in which my team is a doormat, and that we jumped into bc we weren't good enough for the big ten THAT JUST ADDED MARYLAND AND RUTGERS, is the best conference. Bow down to our superiority.

Do you remember what a title feels like? I don't mean a half a title, I mean like the whole thing.

 

Since the Rose Bowl is the equivalent of a national title to UM, maybe you do.

Since the Rose Bowl is the equivalent of a national title to UM, maybe you do.

 

And all it took for Nebraska to get that half title was a illegal kicked pass, Tom Osbourne retiring and then crying that his team deserved the national title.

Other than my own team losing, there's noting I like less in sports than Alabama or Florida winning so I can't get on board with the SEC-love fest. I derive 0 pleasure from Bama's win.

You can't complain about your schedule. You're an sec team now. Every sec team plays an equally unimaginable schedule that's infinity harder than every other team. The non-sec teams should be honored that you showed up for their exhibition games. You can join your boy snayke in fellating big daddy bama though.

Grrr, Ohio State would have been destroyed by Alabama too.

 

Five teams in the final Top 10. We own college football.

Nobody complains about the schedules; it's just a way of life that it's going to be a grind.
