Walterfootball's final 2 mocks have us taking DT Sheldon Richardson-LB Arthur Brown in one draft and CB Desmond Trufant-LB Kevin Minter in the other one.

It's my birthday. Make good picks Bears! Oh and I'm going to have to sneak to watch too as I have birthday dinner plans made on my behalf.

apparently Patriots draftees might get Watertown PD hats

I saw that tweet. I think they meant the Patriots personnel are going to be wearing them but the draft picks are getting the standard Patriots/NFL hats when called upon.

 

@zuriberry: Really cool. Bill Belichick has requested Watertown PD hats for his team (not picks) to wear during draft

Carolina seems like a slam-dunk landing spot for Richardson (we haven't had a good DT since Kris Jenkins' knees started exploding annually), so unless something wild happens I don't think he gets to 20.

If that's true, Kiper has been all over that for some time. At least I have time to prepare myself for Te'o as the Bears 20th pick.

Yes. Te'o reminds me of a slower and less athletic AJ Hawk and Hawk is already slow and pretty unathletic

April 24: "Interesting #Bears are working out Mike Glennon on eve of NFL Draft. But surprised a source told me #Bears looking "hard" at QBs in draft." - Sean Jensen

 

April 24: When asked which pick they feel strongly about that doesn't involve their own team, one of our sources said "Desmond Trufant to Chicago."

I can't wait for Te'o to be drafted by the Bears. What a glorious day this could be.

I hadn't heard word one about Te'o to the Bears until these last couple of days. Smells of a smokescreen to get the Vikings to move up IMO.

 

I'm shocked at how fast Eifert has been flying up boards. Lots of talk of him in the top 15 now.

It increasingly sounds like SF wants a DL via trade up with Sheldon Richardson as the likely target.
