Danilo Gallinari probably blew out his knee tonight. He was driving to the basket, planted on his left leg and his knee bent inwards. That would be a big blow to Denver's chances in the playoffs.

Torn ACL. Done for the season.

And next season if he's on the Rose rehab program.

We'll await word from Reggie Gallinari.

Dwight Howard has missed more free throws this year (335 in 652 attempts) than Steve Nash has missed in his entire career (322 in 3360 attempts).

Haha, my Facebook feed is full of bitter Laker fans at the Clippers winning the Pacific/sweeping the Lakers this year. Congrats on your past accomplishments, idiots.

The Lakers believe Kobe tore his Achilles at the end of the Golden State game.

Obviously not a Laker fan, but hate seeing this. D'Antoni is the Dusty Baker of the NBA.

The Mike Shanahan of the NFL, if you will.

That's a tough one to come back from. With him talking about retiring after next year, have to wonder if he may be done....

And not that they had any sort of chance against the Thunder in round 1 (if they get in) but without Kobe they won't be able to stay within 20 of the Thunder.

Nah, there's no way Kobe's done. Way, way, way too competitive for that. He'll make Rose sitting out all year look more assinine than it already appears to be.

Yeah I agree. Plus he's close to MJ in career pts (710 pts to get to #3 all time) that he'll come back just to pass MJ. No way he'll just stop short unless he PHYSICALLY can't do it.

I wonder if the Lakers will amnesty Kobe? Next year will be his last under contract and he'll miss part of the season(right?), if not quite a bit. With their luxury tax threshold and his 30 mill salary, it's going to cost the Lakers an additional 45 million, on top of his salary, to keep him. Wonder how much of that 30 mill salary a contender would pick up to have him for the stretch run?

How does restructuring work in the NBA? Could they work out a 2-3 year extension with an aav of like 17mm? And spread the $30mm guaranteed over over it?

"If you see me in a fight with a bear, prey for the bear" is such an amazing quote.

Well, he WOULD be the prey for the bear in that scenario.
