Danilo Gallinari probably blew out his knee tonight. He was driving to the basket, planted on his left leg and his knee bent inwards. That would be a big blow to Denver's chances in the playoffs.

 

Torn ACL. Done for the season.

And next season if he's on the Rose rehab program.

Yeah I agree. Plus he's close to MJ in career pts (710 pts to get to #3 all time) that he'll come back just to pass MJ. No way he'll just stop short unless he PHYSICALLY can't do it.

With their luxury tax threshold and his 30 mill salary, it's going to cost the Lakers an additional 45 million, on top of his salary, to keep him. Wonder how much of that 30 mill salary a contender would pick up to have him for the stretch run?

How does restructuring work in the NBA? Could they work out a 2-3 year extension with an aav of like 17mm? And spread the $30mm guaranteed over over it?
