Torn labrum has gotta be more than a 1-2 week injury no?

Not necessarily for a basketball player. About the only 2 things the labrum affects are lifting things up with your arms extended and throwing. I never really had any issues playing basketball when mine was shredded. It's a pain tolerance thing though, so who knows with Howard.

Scot Skiles apparently decided it was taking too long for the Bucks to quit on him, so he quit on them. The Bucks decided rather than let him do it at the end of the year it'd be best if they just parted ways now.

KG allegedly told Melo that Lala tasted like honey nut cheerios and that's why Melo went after him after the game.

I always wondered why people bothered with stupid impersonal insults about girlfriends, wives, and mothers. But I guess its because some people are actually bothered by them. Who needs to compare you to a cancer patient when mentioning what your wife tastes like will do the trick.

I wonder where the Lakers would be if they had hired Phil instead of D'Antoni.

He couldn't have made more than a 2-3 win difference at most. They just aren't that good of a team. They have no depth and then throw in the injuries to 3 of their 4 best players. Just not a whole lot to work with.

Phil would've had enough sense to pound the ball into 1 of their 2 seven footers instead of allowing Kobe to ball chuck.

Apparently there's a deal close for the Sacramento Kings to be sold to a Seattle syndicate.

Interesting. I am all for franchises staying where they currently are and I like the Kings in Sacramento, but I like NBA basketball in Seattle more.

Also would be fun to see all the Seattle fans who got burned by Bennett have to turn around and celebrate another franchise being uprooted for them.

The damage is done. They'll have to watch what could've been with Durant and Westbrook for 10 more years.

Well this sucks.

OKC scored 51 points in the second half today. Durant and Westbrook combined for 47 of those points.

Durant was unreal in the 4th quarter

Kevin Love needs surgery on his hand and will be out 8-10 weeks.

How does this affect his impending trade to the Bulls?

Reduces the price to Nate + some practice balls.

The Knicks placed extra microphones near the court for the game against the Bulls to record all the trash talking to see if teams were targeting Carmelo. What a joke.

So what? What are they gonna do about it?

As if we didn't already know that KG is the only guy in the league who says bizarre prison rape things to opposing players.

Cry to Lord Stern, I guess.

LeBron returning to Cleveland after 2014 would be quite interesting.

If that were to happen, and even though I've soured on him since the whole SuperFriendsdeal, having DWade come to the Bulls after 2014 would be pretty sweet as a sidekick for Rose. I suppose age and skills erosion would be a huge consideration in the Bulls' Wade interest.
