I feel like [expletive] with someone's spinal fluid can cause complications without someone screwing up, just because you're [expletive] with someone's spinal fluid.

Not really. It's really strange. I'm not sure I get it. There must be more to the story.

Because spinal taps rarely have complications. Nearly every pregnant woman gets a needle placed into the CSF. Many kids who go into the ER with a fever. I've done a few myself, and they really sound worse than they are.

I guess Woj is full of [expletive].

Rose said Monday that his status is "still up in the air. I might have a chance," although coach Tom Thibodeau ruled him out for Game 1.

Asked about Rose's availability for the series, Thibodeau said "we'll see."

So many of you are going to love this line.

With many of his teammates fighting through injuries and illness to play, former Bull and TNT analyst Steve Kerr said last week that Rose owed it to his team to play if he is healthy. Asked if he owes it to his teammates to be on the court, Rose said Monday: "Everybody has their own opinion. The key words that he said is, 'if I'm ready.' Right now, I'm not ready so I'm just trying to take my time and just really, really be smart."

Not really relevant, but I enjoy the "really, really be smart" line the sentence after he uses the phrase "the key words is".

Deng, Boozer, and the Charlotte pick are all in play this offseason. I wouldn't trade Butler. For the money he is a valuable contributor.

But thats exactly why hes valuable. Nobody really is dying for an overpaid Boozer or a nicked up Deng. But paired with Butler and a pick? Suddenly they're much more tempting. Gonna have to give up value if we want Love.

You are correct, except that their value lies in their contracts, both of which create a ton of cap room to pursue FA's after the 2014 season.

Boozer is a net negative in any trade

Even with amnesty?

Adidas has to be totally pissed off too

Rovell tweeted just a little bit ago that executives are avoiding comment on anything Rose-related.

I thought there was a rule that only the team that signed to contract could use the amnesty, but maybe I'm wrong?

EDIT:

For a player to be eligible for the Amnesty provision he must be on his team's roster continuously from July 1, 2011 to the date he is amnestied, without any new contract, extension, renegotiation or other amendment to his contract in the meantime.

I know the odds are way, way against the Bulls, but I kinda have a good feeling about tonight. I dunno, the Heat haven't been playing, and the Bulls have been scrapping for 3 games now. The Heat and their fans confidence is as high as it's ever been, especially against the Bulls leftovers. I'm not guaranteeing a win or anything, but I think there's a chance at a surprise win tonight.

They should just send Cook out there to kick Wade in the knee to even things up a bit.

By getting outplayed by Nate Robinson?

True, but that's not his normal m.o. Usually he bitches to management to get the coaches out. And while he wasn't very good at times in this series, this one probably should fall more on Joe Johnson. Deron still had a per of over 20.

I think they are going to come out swinging and make it a close game. I realize the Bulls have no shot of winning this series, but I'd love if the Bulls could beat the Heat up physically, and maybe inflict some serious injuries on them.

These guys will make the games close I think, but yeah, I can't see them winning the series.

The Bulls are going to get caaaaaaaaahhhhhhRUSHED tonight.

It all depends on how they can manage to do defensively. If they can completely own the boards (as they probably should) and force Miami into low percentage shots, the score will be close by default.

The Heat will force the Bulls into bad shots, but Nate always takes bad shots, so it's nothing different than the usual offense.

Nice start but Noah already in foul trouble.

That Craig Sager report on Rose with Rose's comments are not going to help.
