And I wish we could transplant this Heat team back to 1989 and have them play the Pistons. Then they'd really know what a hard fould was all about.

or the xavier mcdaniels knicks. that guy didn't wash his hands or cut his fingernails.

I met actual Wallace Shawn before, well, we rode the same elevator.

I once rode an elevator with Coach K at the Bellagio in like 2004. It was like 3 AM. Took me a while to process where the hell I recognized him from.

The play where Hinrich dragged Lebron to the ground should've been called charging on Lebron. Discuss.

I only saw the replay once but his feet weren't quite set were they?

If Hinrich didn't put his arms around him right away I think it is absolutely a charge. I would have been fine with it being a charge even though he put his arms around him. That to me, is the epitome of what a charge should be--going straight into the body of the defender full blast and lowering his shoulder like that. I hate the college charges where someone runs up and gets in the way of someone.

Anyway, it is ridiculous that last nights game is something Lebron needs to complain about when the only two fouls they keep replaying as the hard/dirty plays were the hinrich "tackle" (they were going down because of the charge, hinrich didn't tackle him to the ground) and then one semi-hard foul from Gibson.

Hell, who here knew the Lakers held the record?

Probably most of us?

I feel like anyone who follows the NBA regularly should know this.

Just watching sportscenter semi-regularly would suffice.

I had no idea about the streak until the media kept talking about the Heat streak. And the media started talking about the Heat streak when it wasn't even the longest streak in the NBA THIS YEAR. So no. I don't think people care too much about it. It's a media creation more than anything.

What's the longest winning streak in baseball? I couldn't tell you off the top of my head. I seem to remember the Orioles had a nice one years ago. And maybe the Mariners recently? But I have no idea. How many of you guys actually know it off the top of your head.

I did because of the A's in 2002.

I first heard about it with regard to the Bulls in '96. I mean, it's come up a lot

That's exactly why I knew about it. What did they run off, like 19 in a row I think?

Random question: Do the Bulls still have a draft pick coming their way from the Bobcats?

It's top 12 protected this year, top 10 next year, top 8 the following year, then unprotected.
