What's with Hester fair catching so much? He made some really bad decisions last night on punt returns.

As bad as Carimi was on the O-line last night, Garza was possibly worse. He got beat a lot, not to mention false starts...on the center!!

Garza, Carimi and Rachal were all bad.

Webb is currently the best OL on the team and he's not even average.

I'm pretty sure Lance Louis is the best OL on the team. I heard on the radio that the Bears were thrilled with his performance this year and they are beginning to discuss an extension for him.

Fair enough, I can agree with that.

The entire game, the announcers were criticizing the Bears safeties for playing too deep.

That is an absurd interpretation of how the announcers were calling the game. Gruden was creaming his pants over the Bears.

Yeah, they were just saying it was unusual, and was daring the Lions to run. Which explains why the Bears gave up more running yards than they usually do. I fully expect the Bears to get back to shutting down the run after this.

every team we've faced this year has played their two safeties absurdly deep like that, but we can't really exploit it much because Raiola and Backus are woefully poor run blockers and LeShoure can't break tackles/make guys miss

i imagine better run blockers will be high on Schwartz's wish list this offseason

...aaaand Nate Burleson is out for the year after talking smack. Was this his "tribute"?

He wasn't talking smack. Dude was cool and the interview was completely good natured.

So tired of how people try to spin stuff.

It's so glaringly obvious how the Bears offense is all about the talented skill position players trying to make do with completely incompetent lineman (not to mention a dullard as OC). You watch them operate and it's surprising they don't score more, but the line is constantly getting penalized and ruining drives when they just flat out aren't blocking.

I didn't think Tice did too bad last night. Did a good job calling plays to get us out of the shadow of our own goalposts a few times. I think if Cutler wasn't hurt, the Bears probably would've added a TD or two in the second half. But as Jay admitted, the injury limited playcalling.

First off, that gif takes forever to load, so I give up on trying to see it in it's entirety. I mean, what's the point, showing another dirty player toeing the line of a legal hit in yet another loss for the Lions?

I had to rush over here to mention the Bears are #5 in ESPN's power rankings!

Ahead of them are the 49ers (4, 4-2), Texans (3, 6-1), Giants (2, 5-2) and Falcons (1, 6-0). Packers are 7th, Vikings 9th, Lions 19th.

How can so many people have no clue as to how to block gifs in their browsers?

I can't argue with that. I would be happy with a split against the Texans and 49ers when we play them. I'm actually pretty confident about the game at San Fran.

Yeah, I don't want to block them all. They just shouldn't be that size in sigs.

It's also kind of lame considering it's of a cheap shot on the franchise QB of the team that 90% of the people on this board cheer for.

Gifs are fine. Sigs suck, and I have those disabled.

I should probably just do this, but there are some new and amusing signs now and then that are worth seeing.

For those complaining that a Bears win would leave you too excited to sleep, I think you got what you wanted on this one.

The Cardinals' collapse is what will get me 8 hours of *great* sleep tonight.

I slept the best I've slept since... the Spring, at least.

You don't have to block them all; it's exceedingly simple to pick which ones to block.
