This is a very painful BYE week this year. Just want to see this train keep on rolling. Time for yet another national TV game

Odd that the Bears have 5 primetime games in their first 10, and then none in the last 6.

Also it sucks that not only do we have a bye but we don't play until Monday the next week. 2 straight weeks of no Bears on Sunday. I hate sitting through Sundays without the Bears. At least we finally have a Monday night home game. 6 of our last 7 primetime games have been on the road, including our last 3 MNF games dating back to early 2010.

I'm sure they'll flex some of the Bears games in the last few weeks.

Unless the rule has changed this year because of the increased number of primetime slots, the Bears can only have 1 game flexed to Sunday night this year. A team gets a max of 6 primtetime games a year. And the only rule I've heard implemented this year was that every team has to be on primetime at least once.

Yup, the last 4 are against MIN, GB, ARZ, DET. Chances are highly likely more than one of those games have significant WC/Division implications one of those could easily get flexed.

So they can flex one game, which they'll most likely do if the Bears are even close to a playoff spot.

It gets tougher after the next 3 games.

Sweep the next 3 and brace for HOU/SF back-to-back. That will be a huge test for the Bears.

Maybe, although the Sunday night schedule is pretty strong this year. Only games I could see them replacing right now are week 14 and week 16. The Bears could fill one of those spots if they do end up getting flexed, but there are some other juicy games as well. It looks like week 12 and 14 are the only two weeks the Bears might move to 4:25, although neither week is really likely. And of course week 17 is completely up in the air as it usually is, but since the Bears play a likely non-playoff team in Detroit the odds are poorer for them to get a late slot.

Why are we assuming the Lions and Packers are good?

Division games. Weird things happen in division games. And I know, everybody has division games at the end of the season. Still, that's a potentially rough stretch.

Still seems more realistic than assuming the Vikings are going to keep it up.

How dare Cutler yell at a member of his team/coach:

Rivers is equally the douche that Jay is. I definitely think his face would make a better punching bag.

That's odd that they play 5 of their 6 division games within the last 6 games of the year.

Marmallard has been yelling at his teammates and coaches more vocally, frequently and obnoxiously for a longer time than Cutler. I wouldn't even compare the two. Back when they faced each other and were mortal enemies and I was an unbiased observer, I could not stand Rivers and the way he acts on the field. He just yells at everybody out there the entire game.

#Bears WR Alshon Jeffery suffers fracture in right hand and is in a cast. No surgery required. Could miss a few weeks.

They should shape the cast like a mitt, then he could play.

Thankfully there's 15 days until the next game. He'll probably miss that Lions game, and maybe the game after that, but the good news is that Earl Bennett should absolutely be back in the lineup after the bye.
