With Bush and Wilken safe and Fleita out, what other Hendry holdovers are even lwft? Maybe the stats guy Ricketts forced him to hire? I guess I could see Theo telling Tom his heart was in the right place with the hiring, but we can take it from here.

Yeah, I was thinking about the development personnel (coaches, coordinators, etc), but I don't think they'd be fired midseason.

This is a good move. You have to think that this was a year to evaluate not only the players but the front office/scouting department. They're going to keep the guys that they like (Wilken, etc) and get rid of the guys that don't fit.

I bet they're firing Theo.

 

Jed takes the fall this year to cover up for Epstein's failures. Next year it's Theo's turn.
