I heard Jorge Soler is expected to get into AZL games sometime next week.

For the life of me, I don't know why Joe Zeller is starting. Granted, no one in Boise deserves a call-up, but why not start Antigua, or heck, Austin Reed, Luis Liria, or Yao-lin Wang (granted, he's settled in as the closer there).

After Zeller's 6 hitless innings this evening, please feel free to make this observation about some of our more interesting pitching prospects.

Kristen with his first Peoria HR tonight. 4-8 down there so far.

Gioskar Amaya with his second HR in as many days

Vogelbach adds a HR to his double. Let's get him up to Boise, we're starting to the reach the "just wasting time" stage of dominance, OPS above 1.150 now.

Vogelbach adds another double. It hardly seems fair at this point.

Problem is, it's unfair to demote Shoulders who still has an .804 OPS despite a low average. Any chance of leapfrogging Vogelsbach to Peoria?

Boise has a DH.

Saw on twitter that according to smokies radio, McNutt has been moved to the BP, effective a couple days ago. How did I not see that.

Rosscup was moved up to their rotation and we were wondering who would replace him - McNutt made the most sense.

Yeah - I think it makes sense to send Vogelbach to Peoria, Hoilman to Daytona, Ridling to Tennessee and Bour to Iowa.

Yeah, Iowa doesn't even have a real 1B on the roster anymore. They've been playing Vitters or one of their 3 catchers there since Rizzo was promoted. All those players could use a promotion to challenge them a little more.

It's going to be interesting to see what happens with Vogelbach. It's pretty clear that he can hit, but what do the Cubs do if he keeps destroying each level? Trade bait? Super pinch hitter? World's fattest second baseman?
