Yeah! Can this put an end to that silly nonsense of Jeff Baker at first against LHP?

What? Who? Oh, yeah. Baker. Yeah, um...end him.

Rizzo making his debut tonight was my first thought when I woke up this morning. Can't wait for tonight!

Very excited for Rizzo to make his debut. This is sure to be one of the brighter spots of the season. My only hope is that the media gives him time to develop, but that's about as likely as me marrying a supermodel.

A local central IL station shows the WCIU games generally, but they're toying with me tonight. TV listings online show the White Sox on instead of the Cubs, but the website for the station shows the Cubs on tonight instead of the White Sox.

Guess I won't know until 7:00 if I get to see this or not.

EDIT: Woot! Found another site with listings that shows the Cubs. I think I'm ok. Everyone can breathe easy. I know you were worried.

I still shouldn't have purchased MLBEI this year but being able to see tonight's game will make me feel a little better about it.

Not sure if it gets all the way to you, by My59 WAOE from Peoria carries it.

MLB Network is scheduled to air a game tonight, Det @ Tex. But they do a good job of bouncing around to other games and showing in game look ins/updates/highlights. I wouldn't be surprised if they cut in for Rizzo's ab.

mlb.tv is superior in nearly every single way.

Yeah, I won't be going the EI route next year.

Prediction for Anthony Rizzo tomorrow.: 6 hits in 4 at-bats. He cures cancer, the common cold, and lupus.

I called him out on twitter last night for this crap.

Chuck Garfien is quietly one of the worst baseball media members in Chicago. I say quietly because he's stuck to the Sox so I usually ignore him, but he was hosting CTL recently and said some really dumb stuff. The dumbest was, "The most important thing is that Rizzo hits .382 in day games. That is what the Cubs need to do, bring in more guys who hit better in day games."
