Lets set it out...

We play .198 Ian Stewart......Josh Vitters is hitting better than that at AAA..(and Junior Lake at AA)

...We play Bryan LaHair at 1st sometimes....(although we bench him against lefties for up-and-coming superstar Jeff Baker) even though Anthony Rizzo is doing significantly better than that in the minors...

We play Tony C and David D (combined 2 homers) when Brett Jackson playing center and right has 20-30 extra base hits at AAA Iowa...

However valid the reasons are for keeping them (Rizzo and Jackson espcially) at Iowa..

nobody's forcing us to do that....while we score 2 1/2 runs a game at the MLB level

We arent talentless...we arent helpless....we just CHOOSE, right now, to be punchless. :(

Right?

Right?

So you admit that the reasons for keeping Rizzo and Jackson in Iowa are valid, but you want to bring them up anyway? Why? You think doing that can help us win the division?

I dont think the reasons are all valid ....(the phrase was 'however valid')

Jackson should have been here out of spring training or when Byrd was traded. He earned a shot.

Vitters should now be given the same chance that Stewart got.. (They should have given him that shot in April)

I understand the 'service time' issue with Rizzo but that's not valid after this month.

You have to try to put a competitive product on the field....the major league field

We can all agree we arent doing that right now//

Apparently you don't realize that Stewart is just unlucky. :yahoo:

So...the complaint about Rizzo is that he hasn't yet been called up in the future.

And Vitters should have been on the major league team in April after OPSing 770 in AA last year.

Why on earth would Vitters have been given the job in April?

Who on earth said GIVE him a job. :-s

I said give him a shot ..Ramirez went north....Vitters was the AAA 3rd baseman...

..would have been much cheaper..

Better than seein' Ian play

I have noticed that PriortoTheo.......has been missing from here as of late. Not sure whether he got some time off or what, but he does have like 800 posts in a week over at PSD. I'm putting my official guess down as this being him.

Vitters should have been given a shot.....a chance...

Your arguement is that you like .197 at third base.

Okay. I dont want to to try to change your mind on that... :good:

I've never been more convinced of a dupe account. These are getting more outrageous by the minute.

and LaHair would be doing all that in left field with Rizzo at 1st with his numbers

if we'd have released Sori last winter like we'll ceratinly have to do eventually anyway.

That's what I mean by 'choosing to be punchless'

Its a choice we made..

understand 83...?

Hollandsworth's Mug? Although a mod already caught him with a dupe account, and it was glorious.

and DUDE...sacrifice bunts have also ended more innings of any kind than anything else.

Are you Dusty Baker ? :-$
