I wonder if his control comes back soon, no clue as to why it seemingly left him in his drive from EXST to Peoria.

Through 2, Lake has a single and a double.

Now 3 scoreless for Concepcion. Hernandez has a single and is up to .198!

Rhee kinda fell apart, as the defense (his included) went to [expletive]. Started 6 up- 6 down. With Cerda making the assist or putout on every ball in play. Lake started it out with an error at SS. Cerda also made an error.

And the Smokies have given up 5 runs so far in the 5th with only 2 balls having left the IF. Both of those were only station-to-station singles.

Not a big fan of Ben Wells being limited to 3-4 inning outings. I assume at some point Wells will start with Concepcion to follow, but with Concepcion as the big money guy, I do wonder.

Nice work by the pen in the Tenn game, Here's hoping they hold on.

Another reason to have Burke and Francescon bumped up to Daytona - Wells and Peralta should be in Peoria's rotation.

Not sure what the corresponding moves would be in Daytona. Loosen to the pen seems the best one; I'd hate to see Cates already demoted to the pen.

We really should start the LaHair in LF experiment. Whether it means DFA'ing Soriano or not. You know they've got to trying everything they can to move him at least.

That's great to see a solid outing from Concepcion.

Lake or Vitters...one of these two f'ers need to award my optimism this year...It's my right as an American, dammit.

If Lake hasn't rewarded your optimism so far in his short time back, you're a very hard man to please.
