At Michigan was a guaranteed loss. You weren't going to sweep IU and MSU out the gate when you're starting 3 freshman. 1-2 was about all anyone should have realistically hoped for. They lost by a combined 7 points, 1 of which came without their best player in a game they led the whole way. They're 1 game off any kind of projected pace with 15 left to play.

 

It's not ideal but if you thought they had a decent chance before there's no [expletive] reason for this 3 game stretch to change everything.

I feel like they have to get two ranked wins to make it. I doubt they win one on the road so they would have to beat both Minnesota and Illinois at home. I'm not seeing them beat Minnesota.
