Let us have a moment of silence for Kevin O'Neil.

You should be disappointed by this news.

Of course I am, but it was as inevitable as Lane Kiffen's firing will be in 11 months.

I suspect Jamie Dixon will be USC's next head coach.

Why would Dixon want this job? I mean I'd be all for it but I don't see what pulls him here.

He's from Southern California, he might have peaked at Pitt and he's been linked to the job before.

Honest: Brent Musberger's sign off of the Kansas-Baylor game tonight: "For Fran Fraschilla and Holly Rowe, who was really smokin' tonight, so long from Lawrence."

USC has put as many relevant players into the NBA as the entire Big 10 has in the last 5 years. Discuss.

Does this count Lil Romeo?

@jksports: Simply stated: "Brent said the word 'it.' We are moving on."

"For Fran Fraschilla and it, who was really smokin' tonight, so long from Lawrence."

Bo owns Crean.

Ryan went 4-3 against Crean while Crean was at Marquette. Counting last year's sweep -- neither of which was in Bloomington -- he's 6-3 against Crean (which, I suppose, is close to "owning" depending on one's definition). Counting games against Crean's first three awful IU teams that everyone owned is entirely specious for this purpose.

I think they're trying to say he said, "For Fran Fraschilla and Holly Rowe, it was really smokin' tonight, so long from Lawrence."

Obviously that's bull and Brent is just trolling everyone, but yeah.

Ed DeChellis owns Tom Crean.

I love ignoring data points in an already small data set.

But 2008-2011 doesn't count. You have to remember the rules.

You're the one that threw out the word "owns". When 1/3 of Ryan's wins vs Crean came when Crean had a team that everyone owned. The post was to point out that "owned" was probably a little much.

It's not a coincidence that IU doesn't schedule Navy in their noncon
