I think Wood was the only one and then when they did have stuff about the renovations in 2013, people made it out like there was a big announcement every year. They hired Joe Maddon and signed Jon Lester. They don't need some hype story to drum up interest in January.

Yep, they try to make moves before the convention, but not right before, and they don't do apple style surprises.
