i was 50/50 on this series going in, but i feel pretty confident about the thunder after seeing this game. the only reason it was close was because of a crazy jump-shooting start by miami.

the thunder just look too fast. they were all over the place in the second half. the heat haven't seen a team like this yet.

I was pretty confident in the Thunder coming in, but still nervous. It just seemed like they made it through such a harder stretch than the heat had to. To be honest, you could argue that every team the Thunder beat might be better than any team Miami beat (maybe the celtics beat the Mavs), and yet Miami struggled more to get to the finals.

Last year, everyone was afraid of the Heat dynasty. OKC is now looking like they have the makings of one. They are so damn good and young. Hopefully, they start losing players or the NBA might suck for everyone else for a while.

I'll take them slaying Lebron this year, and worry about future implications later.

But thanks!

i'm still hoping for a minnesota/okc durant/westbrook/harden/love/rubio/williams rivalry to develop over the next decade.

Haha. Yeah, if it happens, it'll sure suck for LeBron.

I'm loving this series. OKC is running circles around the Heat, and will continue to do so.

The refs tried to close the gap in the 4th quarter with poor officiating, but the Thunder would have none of it.

I never, ever, ever, ever, ever in a million trillion zillion years thought Durant would ever approach this level of passing acumen.

he still looks ugly doing it, but he's able to keep defenders honest because he's not always *JUMP SHOT* *RECKLESS DRIVE TO THE BASKET*

OKC has looked like they have the makings of one for three years. They haven't snuck up on anyone.

Bulls aren't even in the same league. Even if they were healthy. My lord that team is unreal.

The end to the Bulls season was devistating and it still hurts. Because of their NBA best regular season without so many key guys and their 1 playoff triumph at full strength, I am allowed to state that the 2011-2012 Bulls would have swept through the playoffs 16-0 and no one can change my mind. *puts blinders on*

I argued all year that the Bulls could beat the Heat. I didn't have that same confidence when it came to the Thunder.

The NBA has always been a sport where almost every team in the league knows (or should know) they don't really have a chance though. You could probably pick about 3 teams every year that have a real chance to win the title and be right 95% of the time. I bet most predictions at the beginning of the year were Heat vs Thunder.

To be honest though, even as a bulls fan, I wouldn't be that upset with the Thunder dominating for a while. I hated the idea of the Heat doing it, but the Thunder are much more like-able. I think that since the players are so much more visible in the NBA, it is easy to root for certain teams and especially root against certain teams that are not your own home team.

Also, growing up in the 90's made for such a perfect storm as a Bulls fan. 6 championships with arguably the greatest player ever during the heyday of NBA popularity... and all of this happening during the years of my life where sports were basically the most important thing in my life will never be able to be topped by any future bulls team--no matter how successful they were. I just really want to see all of my teams win at least once in my lifetime. The 90's bulls already gave me enough success to be content.

Is that why they were 3 to 1 to win the championship when both series were 2-2 when I was in Vegas last week? Miami and SA were closer to 1 to 1.

Vegas odds aren't always, or even usually, indictive of likely outcomes more often they mirror where the general public's money is going or not going
