No, the Pacers don't have any stars. Danny Granger isn't a star. He's not made any olympic teams, no one knows who in the blue hell he is. They are a good team that the NBA is praying gets beat out because they aren't marketable because they don't have any stars.

I don't think anyone is saying the Pacers have stars. They have a potential star, and some All-Stars, but no true stars right now.

We were discussing a potential SA-Boston final though which does have stars on both sides. IMO, it's a problem for the NBA if they can't market that series well.

Clearly the Lakers should have gone to the guys who shot 35.7 and 40 percent for the game instead of the guy who shot 54.5 percent.

Without looking, I'm willing to bet that last nights game was the first time in the last 15 games that Kobe shot 54%.

You have to feed gasol and Bynum for them to bein the game mentally. Chicago fans understand one player cannot be the entire offense, yet people (largely laker fans)defend Kobe and his horrific shot selection and unwillingness to pass. Him shooting 54% is an anomaly.

I stand corrected. My point is Kobe shot much lower then 54% all season.

So did every guard and all but 7 players in the entire league.

Right on. Heck I remember when MJ shot 56 percent during that one year they had a condensed 66-game schedule and Tony Delk was the point guard.

Plus, who could forget that legendary playoff game when Jordan was passing up shots for Wennington?

Dd you bother to look at his FG % all season or just post sarcastic garbage for the sake of it?

[expletive] the Pacers.

You want to borrow my Sheed Celtics shersey?

Well as a Bulls fan, I'm supposed to hate the Pacers anyway, but I already have a Sheed Blazers jersey I can wear.

My fault. Thought you meant Indiana San Antonio.

Not that I think Granger is remotely a star, and I know you said "Olympic" teams, but Granger was on the 2010 FIBA World Championship team.

these guys on this men at work show have to know that it stands no chance, right?

Has TNT/TBS ever had a good original show? Seems like during both NBA and MLB playoffs each year, there is a show that they market to death and it never lasts very long.

I'd like to see the Pacers win but, I'm content with them beating the [expletive] out of the Heat - it only increases the chances they won't win the championship.
