When did the two weeks before Thanksgiving become "let's play a I-AA school" time for the SEC?

Most teams schedule a patsy for homecoming or just to break up the conference grind (I suppose).

or Ole Miss! (sorry, OMC)

This year Arkansas had South Carolina for home coming. . . . .they had their rent-a-wins during the first 3 games of the year. I'd rather they play a conference game for their 1st or 2nd game before they get 'Bama. . . . . .tired of the hogs working the kinks out in that game.

It's so pathetic that Auburn is still freaking ranked. Having 4 losses should alone be enough to make a team not sniff the Top 25, but hen consider that those 4 losses were by 14, 24, 35 and 38 points. Teams that have lost by 111 points shouldn't be ranked.

They're an onside recovery and Chris Relf extending the ball away from being 4-6. It's a joke. Alabama will take care of that next week though.

In fairness, they aren't ranked by either poll and only even got votes in one poll. The computers don't take into account margin of victory which is why they are ranked so much higher in those. And the computers hate all the teams that the voters are putting at the end of the top 25.

I didn't realize Georgia Southern was having such a good season. It will be interesting to see if voters realize that if Alabama struggles against them for the first quarter or two.

they aren't very good, but they've won the games they should have won and upset South Carolina.....all of their losses are to teams ranked 14th in the BCS and better.

One win between the next 2 games and I'll be extremely happy with Michigan's season. Tough task though.

Oh, when the Illinois and Badgers were 6-0 and this game was looking golden.

Then life set in.

I'll still be in attendance. This game splits the household.

You're going to [expletive] down our throats.

Most people usually do that on the floor of Kams, but I guess

I was appaled at the smell of that place when I went back this fall.

I made a promise we could stop in after the game. Not looking forward to it. Should just be a quick stop on the way to Firehaus or somewhere else

I kind of want Wisconsin to win out and get matched up against Alabama in a BCS game. If Alabama doesn't get a re-match and Oregon goes to the national championship game it could happen, right? I was just looking, and didn't realize that Alabama has played in some Rose Bowls (5th most appearances all-time) but last played there in the 40's (not counting their NC appearance recently).

Unless somebody took Stanford before they had a chance to the Rose Bowl would take them.

I can't remember, does the Rose Bowl still have direct ties to B1G and Pac?

I'd rather see us vs. an SEC school as well. Not saying we'd win, but I think it'd answer more questions than playing Oregon or Stanford. Or TCU.
