Former Penn State assistant football coach Jerry Sandusky has been arrested on new sex abuse charges brought by two new accusers

 

Authorities say Sandusky was arrested and arraigned Wednesday.

 

The charges were brought after the new accusers were questioned by a grand jury. Both alleged victims were part of Sandusky's Second Mile charity. One claims he was assaulted in 1997 and the other in 2004.

Ideally, after this one, he won't need to be re-arrested again. If this is done right, he should now be in for life.

I can't imagine he'll be given a bail this time (he shouldn't have been the first time fwiw), so the answer is no.

Hey, any guy off the street would get the same treatment. His connection to PSU isn't doing him any favors.

 

I know, it's ridiculous. Around here an aggravated assault usually gets a 250k bail. It's hard to imagine someone in a fact pattern like this being allowed to post bond.

So lock him up in protective custody. Can we stop talking about prison like it's [expletive] Oz? It's not like it's impossible to keep someone from being murdered behind bars.

they'd pretty much have to. a high-profile child molester is not going to last long in prison, even if it's not oz.
