You realize this means in addition to the Big East winner, we're going to get one more team in Houston that doesn't deserve it get into the BCS this year, right?

 

Can't be any worse than having Boise State get in.

 

It's much worse. Remember when Hawaii made the BCS? That was a great game.

 

At least Boise's proven they can play with good teams year in and year out. Houston struggled to beat UCLA at home this year.

Boise has proven that they can win a game they have several weeks (or months) to prepare for.

Definitely, and a significant percentage of those games against real teams come with a month or more of prep time(bowl games and week 1).
