Ryne Sandberg was on United flight 725 from O'Hare to Phoenix. He was sitting in seat 1D. As I passed him I said "good luck" and he said, "thank you." Not quite Theo Epstein at the Lincoln Park Starbucks, but pretty cool.

Was his hair slicked back?

No, we've been over this....it was slick backed.

Tim, you really need to start regulating these mods better! :-"

No wonder he looked dour.

I'm here to play in a tournamnet. We played at Hohokam on Monday and the lineup sheet from the AFL game of 10/29 was on the wall. All the Cub guys were on it so I took it. Not sure what to do with it, though.

Dammit, I've been on a million flights and never, ever saw anyone famous.

I thought for sure I was sitting behind Cutler from Eastbound & Down in first class once. But it wasn't him.

I was on a plane with Matt Hughes last week. We talked for a bit. Nice guy!

i was in line to board a flight back from new york and muhammad ali was the first person to get off the plane. also, saw perez hilton sitting on the floor in a corner at mccarran int’l with multiple tech devices and lots of snacks (before he became health-conscious). never actually flown with a celebrity though, probably because i’m usually on southwest. the best i can hope for is kevin smith.

Sat next to Carlton from Fresh Prince once. Kept thinking I knew this guy, but couldn't quite put my finger on it. Than a Flight Aatendant came by and asked him if he would mind doing the Carlton Dance for her once we landed. 15 minutes later, he looked at me and said "I'll hit that tonight" and proceeded to show me pictures of quite a few women he's evidently been with. That Carlton's quite a horndog.

Sat next to rapper Gucci Mane on a flight from ATL to Memphis, had his headphones for the entire. His crew was in coach, the only time he took his headphones was when an elderly lady asked for a blanket next to him and opened a bag of chips for her.
