One of my favorite things in football is when a team's only points comes on a safety.

Thank you, Colorado.

BB's timeouts aside, the missed false start call on the shovel pass on 3rd and 8 is largely disappointing.

I was severely praying for "undisputable evidence"

I cussed when that shovel pass happened because I thought it was a false start. I don't feel that bad because of the blatant grounding call that was not called on one of Wisconsins late TD drives and the linebacker tackling that was going on during Ball's big runs on the other.

you won a game in which your team was penalized zero times and you're still finding a way to complain about the officiating?

not at all, I just said I didn't feel bad about the false start. I just like to point out when possible that questionable officiating is part of the game and usually goes both ways.

Iowa State coach Paul Rhoads doesn't like the fact that the official stopped the clock when the A&M player went down in bounds.

Your last name is Roads?

No Rhoads...with an H after the R. No family of any stature would name themselves after a dirt path covered in horse [expletive].

he was right. terrible call.

I agree, but it was a ridiculous overreaction. We could have easily used one of our 3 remaining timeouts to stop the clock and there was 1:20 still remaining in the first half. But for the record, I enjoyed watching it.

Doesn't matter. Just make the right call. Who cares if it wasn't going to impact the game.

In the KU/KSU game, their player signalled for a fair catch, caught it, then sprinted five yards with it before he remembered he signalled for the fair catch. That's a penalty. Granted, we were well on our way to getting cornholed already, but it's still a penalty. Call it.

I don't disagree with you at all. I said when I first posted the gif that the official blew the call. I was just referring to the ridiculous display put on by the coach there. It's not like it was the end of the Wisconsin-Michigan State game and every second mattered.
