Should we start another thread now for predictions on Theo/Hoyer's plan of attack for the offseason.

 

My wild prediction is a name we could see the Cubs going after in the next couple years is Felix Hernandez.

 

Theo reportedly tried to get him a few different times with the Red Sox, even trying to get other teams involved such as the Padres for a three way trade.

 

I believe he still has 3 more years on his contract with the Mariners so it might be next offseason that Theo sets his sights on him again, but he's one name that Theo has been linked to a ton.

And no i dont think there isnt any compensation, i found the language of 'resigned' quite interesting.
