C.C. works (or worked) in the same building as I used to a couple of years ago. Literally 2 floors up. Never met him but I've probably walked past him at some point unknowingly.

Ok?

I'm sorry, is there something else we should be talking about in this thread?

He was the dude (or woman?) always in the Star Trek gear.

LOL! I love this image you guys have of me. Cracks me up.

The first post I remember from you, you were talking about just getting home from puppy training class or some [expletive]. I knew I hated you.

Exactly. Might as well keep the subject on me.

MSDSonline..on the 9th floor, same floor as the Sun Times. I used to bump into Jay Mariotti all the time. If you ever see him in person hes this short stubby dude. /name dropping

I doubt anyone will be seeing Jay anytime soon. I'm guessing his in a dive bar somewhere drowning in a bottle of $8 scotch.

Josh Vitters just walked for the 4th time in just over 40 ABs this fall. Didn't he have like 4 walks all season?

WHAT DOES IT MEAN??!

Jason McLeod

Jason McLeod is the Director of Amateur Scouting for the Boston Red Sox. He has been in this position since 2004, after being encouraged to come east from the San Diego Padres by Sox GM Theo Epstein, who worked with McLeod in San Diego.

What would this mean for Wilken?

He is reportedly not coming over as a scouting director but will be taking another position with the Cubs.

Yup, I actually chatted with Norm Van Lier (RIP) a few times because he would always go into the little convienence store on the ground floor. Our convos never got longer than "how about those Bulls/Who do you think will win tonight" but the last time I ever bumped into him, he recognized me and initiated the dialouge which was awesome.

So we have an Owner (Tom) a President (Kenney) and a GM (Hoyer), can't we just tell Boston here's the offer take it or leave it. What can they do?

If they are crazy and do the worst case scenario I'm confident Hoyer can start the revolution without Theo.

My guess is given those options, they could take it, or they could leave it.

EDIT - Yea, I'm 99% sure that waxpaperbeercup saw that clip of him walking outside of Wrigley from whenever we last played the Red Sox and thought something different was going on.
