I thought the bright bold color era was over in like 1997. Those fit right in with some of the worst uniforms of the 90s.

If you look at the Marlins stadium webcam you can see that this thing is actually quite monstrous in size. I would provide the link, but right now their website is completely inaccessible unless you want to watch a 15 second video of silhouetted baseball players and a 3-hour countdown to the unveiling of the Miami Marlins.

i hate the city of miami. yes, i suppose this reminds me of the city, but it's a terrible city. the fact that these uniforms remind me of something that sucks is not a defense.

Whoops, I can see how that post was misplaced. I was referring to the M with the marlin. The statue is a big bag of hideous. That being said, I am eagerly anticipating seeing all of these things in live motion for the first time. It should be a real hoot. The fish are going to be darting away from foul and passed balls. The brights light of the statue will probably be pulsating in time to a Wham! song. Hanley at third, Jose at short. I just sincerely hope LoMo sacks up and blasts the gaudy spectacle on Twitter.
