That's great that his defense is more than fine. The point is, it could be much better than fine simply with more effort.

 

Imagine a guy is hitting .300 without watching a second of video, but could boost that up to .330 if he spent 30 minutes a day studying pitchers. Are you going to be satisfied with the .300, since that's more than fine too?

 

Folks, the real problem with this buffoon is that he has unrealistic expectations for the results that "a little extra effort" will yield.

 

 

If he thinks watching 30 minutes of game tape will improve someone's batting average 30 points, he probably also thinks a smidge more hustle will turn Soriano into Willie Mays.

hell if he'd watch more 30 minutes more game tape and hustle like crazy in the outfield and practice his bunting more, he'd probably be challenging ted williams for greatest LF of all time.

Mike Quade is the worst Cubs manager I have seen since 1955, in my first Cubs- Cards game at Wrigley. He sucks!
