This is my transcript so it's probably not perfect. First, stop calling the poor kid Cassie. That's a girl name. I'm sure he doesn't like it. But damn, the popup in the sun was 1 error, didn't Pena make two on one play? And wasn't there a couple big bombs from one guy from each side of the plate? And doesn't Soriano suck in Left? Didn't they only score one [expletive] run today? Hasn't Dempster been god fuckin awful all year? Why concentrate on Castro? Sure he made a fucked up play but why the hell does Quade stomp on castro so hard, and let's all the other [expletive] go? I don't like this at all. There was no room for this [expletive]. That's a manager who has melted down, not one that IS melting down. I just thought this was poor [expletive] form. And castro and barney had a bad day in the field but what the hell? They did not cause the Cubs to lose 60 of 99 games.

I'm sure he's not having a heck of a lot of fun watching this team this year. I'm sure that must be coming thru on the broadcast.

A lot of his errors have been throwing errors. Whether or not he improves his fielding is one thing, but if he simply gets better at knowing when to put it in his pocket, you probably halve the number of E's he puts up. That certainly will come with age and experience. I have a feeling he'll be fine. He's already getting to balls that would be rolling past Theriot.
