Yay Cubs. Part of me is holding out hope that we can get within striking distance before All-Star break (I have nothing better to do this summer) and most of me is hoping for the fecal league title.

 

It makes for very, very stress free games as each on is a win-win.

WTF Cobs, these are the teams you need to be losing to if you hope to compete. 4.2 innings between Grabow and Lopez and they couldnt give up so much as a run?

 

On the brighter side, good games by Castro and Soto, and Colvins more than half way to the mendoza line. Oh, and Marshalls awesome.

I tried to watch this game, I really did, but they started unrolling the tarp right as I tuned in. I checked back later, and they were just getting ready to resume play. I literally watched 2 batters and gave up. It's nice to see Colvin end up with a couple of hits. Maybe he'll stop being a pile of garbage now.
