And that's my point. Sure, the best paper team doesn't always win. But if this Canucks team had half the heart to match their talent, they would have at least one cup.

If only the players they cheer for had as much class, I could possibly not hate them as much. I agree, extremely classy. For fans that have to be absolutely devistated, lots of props for cheering.

I miss hockey already. Quickly becoming one of my favorite sports when 3 years ago it was a clear 4th.

 

And the best thing about hockey, I actually have a pretty good idea of when the next games are unlike the NBA and NFL.

If that was an "innocent play," as Eddie said, why did Higgins jump and put his elbow into Chara's head?

 

 

I have no idea what Eddie was looking at, the puck was past them when he did that. Higgins knew exactly where he was and was trying to knock Chara out of the game.

 

Exactly. I have to say, I haven't agreed Eddie several times in this series. It almost seems like he's being contrarian just for the hell of it a lot of the time.

 

Didn't think there were going to be any penalty calls. This is just about as close to a must-score PP as you'll ever see.

 

Watching this a little late on the DVR but that was my thought also. There's no way it was an accidental hit when the Canuck player left the ice to hit Chara.
