We start this series with those who bleed Dodger Blue on Friday, April 22. As of today however, the Cubs are in a 4-way tie for first in a division full of malaise. Can't we just go on a winning streak and be done with it? Good grief.

As they say though. Win series at home and go .500 on the road. We need to get better at both.

That being said we have this guy:

Chad Billingsley

1-1, 4.91 ERA

going up against this young buck:

1-0, 4.22 ERA

I want a sweep! If you want great quotes and funny pictures, go out there and WIN DANG IT!!

Throw at Matt Kemp's head. Just for that Grand Slam in 2008.

That was Loney.

Yeah, but we should take it out on Kemp. Just because.

Because he's by far and away the best batter on that team?

My Dodgers fan roommate likes to talk a lot of trash. Please win, Cobs.

On the bright side, you won't have to listen to him until the fifth inning.

If this game gets played, the Cubs lineup will be, per Bruce Miles's Twitter:

Fukudome

Barney

Castro

Aram

Pena

Byrd

Soriano

Soto

Coleman

Still not thrilled with this lineup but really glad to see that Byrd is not nailed to the 3 spot (although I bet he'll still get a lot more starts there before all is said and done especially when Colvin in starting in right) and is also willing to be a little unconventional by putting Castro at 3. I don't know what Quade thinks about Soto. His spot in the batting order doesn't inspire confidence but Quade has stuck him out there for 17 of the first 19 games so he obviously wants him to play a lot.

I'd drop Pena to 7th and move Soriano to 5th.

Maybe Quade is doing one of those "play him every day, but low in the order to take the pressure off until he starts hitting" sort of deals? I have no idea, this is just a guess.

Would be pretty surprised if they got this one in today. Already extremely wet here and looks like the worst is approaching.

Rain until 4pm, then fairly clear.

Oh, I'm sure people who have tickets will love that 3 hour delay

It's miserable outside. Just play two tomorrow.

Absolutely do this, because I have tickets to tomorrow's game

Would have to be a split-DH, no?
