Coleman nibbling on Billingsley - twice - while Billingsley did nothing but plug 3 fastballs at 65 percent effort past Jeff Stevens in his AB. That's my pick for "most annoying part of this game". I HATE when we waste pitches trying to nibble against the other pitcher.

 

I think Billingsley is actually a pretty good hitter

I take it Quade is not worried about Stevens arm. 74 pitches? Might as well leave him out there until his arm falls off.

Yeah, and not only will his arm be gone but he'll probably get a ticket to the minor leagues as his reward for taking one for the team.

I'm all for giving Quade the benefit of the doubt to start the year but good God, what's he doing to Jeff Stevens right now?! This pitch count is insane!
