Yeah, there's definitely some middle ground between "hahah lebron sucked in the finals" and "HE HAS NO GAME HE'S NOT THAT GOOD."

Every time I read a quote from Chris Bosh, I wonder if he can read, or if he signed his contract in crayon.

Well he's a product of the Dallas public school system, so the answers to your questions are probably no and yes (with a giant X) in that order.

Please don't conflate people who hate LeBron with people who hate him so much, they've convinced themselves he sucks at basketball.

I like the guy on the Illinois board that's convinced himself LBJ will be broke shortly after his career is over. He sucks at basketball and is going to blow all his money. And I hear he has syphillis!

Isn't calling him an [expletive] and making fun of his family members for banging his co-workers enough? Why make [expletive] up?

Obviously not directed at you

"I just thought we were going to come on the court and it was going to happen, like that," he said. "I didn't really anticipate struggling. The struggles taught me something."

At least trying to deny what was obvious to anyone that followed the Heat and their antics close enough this season.

Cuban bought a 3+ foot $90,000 bottle of champagne and left $20,000 tip partying with Dirk, Terry, Brian Cardinal, and Marion Sunday night.

God damn! It's good to be King!

Driving home from Dallas today, I heard an interview with Rick Carlisle on the Ticket. When asked about inserted J.J. Berea into the line-up:

"The guy is dating miss universe...isn't that reason enough to put him in the starting lineup? I mean, you gotta have game to do that!"

As for the fouls, the guy has no offensive game, and he was almost to the point where he was trying to draw a foul rather than actually make a shot. If he's not fast break dunking or jacking a shot, he IS JUST NOT THAT GOOD. I can't believe all this stuff I'm hearing from everyone implying that LeBron can get to the basket like Jordan or Kobe, and he somehow lost it. Simply not true. He never has and never will.

So you said that LeBron isn't a scorer/shooter earlier in the series, now you're saying he can't get to the basket. How exactly is he managing the 4th best scoring average of all-time with all these offensive faults?

A wizard did it

He's a really good player. I've never implied or said otherwise.

My point consistently has been that he is overrated offfensively. Maybe "he's not that good" offensively might have been stating it too strongly, but I've always been consistent with my opinion of him.

His strengths are he's probably the fastest, strongest, and biggest player in history, he's an amazing passer, and a very good defender.

His weakness is one of the most important traits in basketball. To be able to create an easy shot for yourself and score consistently against a good defense. LeBron cannot slither through traffic like Wade, Kobe, DRose. Even Dirk was getting to the basket easier than LeBron. A post game like his shameful given his athletic ability. He's the one who kept passing it when he had Kidd in the post. He knows his post game sucks. And his shot is not consistent. LeBron has his games when everything is going in. But those are the exception. He can get a shot over anyone at any time, yet he doesn't even have the balls to take one in the finals. And he's never been good at any of these things, going back to Cleveland.

Since he was so good so young, and was always the strongest and fastest, he never had to develop many offensive moves.

Take all the stats you want. Did you guys just watch the Dallas series? And he was great in the Bulls series, but he wasn't exactly killing it in the halfcourt game. He made a lot of shots and had a lot of transition points.

There are 2 camps here. 1) LeBron was not on his game in the finals and 2) The finals exposed LeBron's weaknesses. You guys are entitled to think #1 is true. I'll take option #2.

Peoria Chiefs lampoon LeBron James

For one night, fans of the Peoria Chiefs can have their own replica of LeBron James' first championship ring.

Call it the cheapest promotion in sports history because, like James' ring, the handout doesn't exist.

The Chiefs, a Class A affiliate of the Chicago Cubs in the Midwest League, will hold a LeBron James NBA Championship Replica Giveaway night on Thursday, poking fun at the Miami Heat star's loss in the NBA Finals to the Dallas Mavericks.

"Replica rings" -- also known as air -- will be handed out by stadium workers as fans enter the park, according to Chiefs spokesman Nathan Baliva.

Throughout the game, Peoria will honor "a true champion," the Chicago Bulls' six NBA titles with video clips and audio highlights and the Chiefs will take the field to "Sirius," the Alan Parson Project song used by the Bulls during their player introductions.

The Chiefs said they are "looking into" whether they can skip the fourth inning to poke fun at James, who scored just 18 points during the fourth quarter in six NBA Finals games.

anyone related to the Cubs organization has no right to belittle anyone else without a ring.

You must be fun to hang out with.

Unlike those cut-ups over in the Peoria marketing department.

They seem to be pretty good at what they do, whether or not you approve.

Sorry - LBJ is one of the greats of all time, but this was hilarious.
