yeah, i saw that one. it's pretty good but different way of spelling Golem.

I'm really late to the party here, but what's up with the LeBron is a golem thing?

heartless, soulless, mindless, unfinished and flawed, his existence is not well planned. like tithonus, who was blessed with eternal life but not eternal youth, he is an immeasurably tragic figure. all of the talent, all of the skill, but none of the desire. a cosmic irony.

it's like his creator, his sculptor, hurried at the last instant and unleashed a fantastic disappointment.

Did I just hear Mark Cuban drop a naughty word while being interviewed by ESPN?

Yep. Quote of the year material.

What did he say?

"our fans really punked the s--- out of the miami fans"

i love carlisle acknowledging the fact that everyone hates miami and that the mavs felt the pressure of knowing that everybody everywhere wanted them to take down the heat.

And Lebron said something to the affect of "All the people that are loving this will have to go back to their lives and their problems soon and I'll still be living my great life"

Here's the thing Lebron. All the people that were rooting against you...had to go back to their lives when this series was over, whether you won or lost. And your loss only makes going back to work that much better for those folks.

I also like how he said that he didn't care what people said or thought of him with the loss to Dallas. This is the same guy that said he was going to "take notes" and "make a list" of everyone that bashed him in the offseason before this season started.

Stay consistent, LeBron.

i feel like lebron was commanded to become a super-villain like guys in the wwf.

Yeah, it's really bizarre. The whole psychological aspect of all of this, from the team/situation he chose to the heel-turn to the 4th quarter issues is fascinating to me.

South Beach is probably the only place where the Mavs can get away with stuff like that. 90% of the Heat fans turned into Mavs fans as soon as it was obvious that the Heat weren't going to win. Just ask Kyle.

Excuse me I think you mean "rice of passage"

This shouldn't go unnoticed.

And yet we all still have the same number of championship rings that LeBron does.

Why didn't LeBron go to college?

Because he didn't want to show up for the finals.

Today is LeBron James Day in America. To celebrate, everyone is taking off the last 12 minutes of work.
