Glad we got that win, but man Brandon Paul is terrible at the end of games. Two turnovers on bad passes, two missed free throws, and left Schurna a wide open for a three.

Wait...they won? That's a good road win any way you look at it.

It was, but god it was ugly.

Well, they're a great defensive team and a bad offensive team. Ugly is what you get when you put those two together.

You can be those things and make free throws. We didn't and we ran away from the conferences leading scorer in the clutch. Lucky win.

Did Egwu play at all the 2nd half?

I don't think so.

Looked it up, he was in for ~1:30. Not complaining about it, Leonard showed up for the most part in the 2nd half, and I don't think the 2 of them on the court together would work against Northwestern

He looked good in the first half. That was nice to see.

Yeah, thus far he hasn't been nearly the project people were expecting

Nope, I love what we did with minutes today. The one exception I'd make is giving Griffeys minutes to Shaw.

Fran can coach boyz, this team is coming.

Completely pissed it away down the stretch with missed free throws when they've been money there all year. Thank God Minnesota didn't shoot a 3 at the end because no one has ever missed a game-winning 3 against Iowa.

The way the Big Ten's played out I wouldn't rule it out. You've got 2 wins in the can, plus 2 games against PSU and Nebraska and then 6 more home games on top of that. Crazy.

with the type of offensive talent they have it's strange that they'd be so bad offensively......hmmmmm

6 games with PSU, Nebraska, Northwestern, plus home games with Minnesota and Michigan.

6 more wins puts them at 16-15, 8-10 and somewhere in the postseason if not the NIT. Wish we could have that Campbell debacle back.

I know you guys don't want to talk about it (and I certainly don't), but if you pull off one more upset to go with 5-1 vs the bottom 3 teams + home wins vs Minny and Michigan...

The last two games Wisconsin and Minnesota have been a combined 7-51 and while that partly due to good defense, I can't imagine those number standing. The fact is, it's not like Iowa blew those teams out so I assume teams will hit threes at a somewhat better pace than that from here on out and those couple more threes in the game whatever team they play hits will cost them some wins.

I'm trying not to give any expectations at all. I'm just going to ride out and enjoy the season and hope they get some more big wins.
