Did anyone do the Red Sox/Cubs sale?

 

They actually put you in a position in line -- granted, it wasn't completely accurate but it still gave you a general idea of when you were going to get through.

Speaking of Red Sox tickets, I've been selected for the chance to buy Green Monster tickets on Saturday. Does anyone know if there's a strong enough resale on those to worry with it?

Vance, don't take my word on this but I think there is a pretty decent resale value. I believe only something like 100 green monster seats a game or so.

 

The seats I got for the Saturday Cubs/Red Sox game ($100 ticket on 1st base line) are going for $450 on stub hub, cheapest ticket. Insane

the way I understand it, not really. after all his "waiting room guys" turn into "line guys", the only guy that matters is whichever is furthest along.

When this system was used for Red Sox tickets, it was about 10-15 minutes per position in line.

I was in the "line" well before my wife last week, and she started at spot 2, I started at spot 3.

I got in all 8 of my windows in 5 minutes. I only wanted to buy one game, so it felt like a waste.

This could take a long time for me to get my 5 games. At position 5 started at 6. It took 10 min. to move up a spot. Hopefully later in the day it goes more quickly.

It's been 20 minutes and I haven't moved up any spots. I might have to just try later.

I'm in but have been trying for 10 minutes and can't buy due to high transaction volume.

I started in 3rd spot moved to 2nd spot fairly quickly and now havent moved for prob 15mins at least
