Well according to Lovie we have two #1 wideouts on this team. The OL apparently is 100% fine as is too!

It's not about that. If you are going to take a chance on someone make it someone who has proven he can play....like Haynswortn, Ochocinco, etc.

Why are people upset we didn't sign a second WR?

 

As I said before the WRs arent that bad, there just isn't a #1 type WR on this team no matter what Lovie says. Knox could be a pretty good number 2. Hester is a good number 3. Bennett could be a good number 2. The team chose Roy Williams as their #1 receiver target. Wasn't my first choice, but so be it. At least they got something. So now we wait and see if they were right. But at this point it didn't make sense to bring in Sims-Walker even though many (including me) would have rather had him than Williams.

Agreed. I know Bears fans are desperate for a WR but as someone who had him on my fantasy team twice (and has Sunday Ticket) you're not missing out on much. Plus he only got a 1 year deal from the Rams so either he thinks he can prove himself and get a big deal, or there are issues that were causing teams to stay away.

Uhh yeah. IMO he's better than Olsen. I'd be estatic with him or Kevin Boss either one.

 

Gholston sounds like a Marinelli project. I don't mind that signing one bit.

I would be thrilled with Zach Miller as our TE. I would consider our offseason as an upgrade if we can land a proven player like him.

Man I'll admit I wanted Sims-Walker but people on Twitter are acting like the Bears missed out on Fitz or Andre Johnson. It's amazing what being a fantasy stud for a short period in 2009 will do for a guy.

The Bears are absolutely going to bring in another lineman along with Olin (assuming he signs, and I'm pretty sure he will) so anyone worried about it should calm a little down.

 

I highly doubt they go after any wide receiver of any notoriety after the Roy Williams signing, however. This front office doesn't roll like that.

Carimi is going to play left tackle. They said he might not be with the first team in his first practice.

 

It's possible they could flip the tackles as TC progresses.

The Bears signed 4 more UDFA's. They now have 89 on the roster. If Kreutz signs, that'd be 90. Obviously they can just drop a UDFA if they sign another player, though.
