I'm not from Illinois but I'm a Cubs fan. My grandpa was a Cubs fan, so was my dad, and I just picked it up along the way. WGN was always on during baseball season.

We did, and do, but I was exposed to the Cubs. One of my earliest memories is my dad cheering them on during a game in '84. It's what I knew as a kid, and I just stuck with it. I couldn't change now if I tried.

I don't know why it's such a big deal that there are Packer fans who are also Cub fans. It was split pretty evenly between Packer and Bear fans when I was growing up.
