The only question after tonight's game will be who is the best QB ever selected 199th overall in the NFL draft. And no one will be able to answer it.

I don't think the answer will be up for debate until Joe Webb has at least 3 Super Bowl rings of his own.

WTF.

Wouldn't surprise me if ruling Favre out was part of a plot to get the Bears to prepare solely for Webb. Good though, let it happen. There's no way we're getting beat by an immobile QB with a bum shoulder. I don't care who he is.

That's kind of silly if that were the case. Most of the Bears defense has faced Favre numerous times in the past, and while they might not be as fresh in preparations as if they had prepared for him all week but everyone at this point knows the basic gameplan to face Brett Favre, and the Bears have had a ton of success stopping him over the last 6 years (7-2, with one of the losses coming on the same night as Rex's NYE party, since 2005)

I have a question though. Favre was officially ruled out by the Vikings. Is that something you can reverse? Why didn't they just list him as doubtful?

Sure you can reverse it. Official inactive lists aren't due until a few hours before game time, so I would think until then its all tentative.

What would piss Bears fans off more? Losing to a 6th round rookie QB who was drafted as a WR or having #4 get one last moment of glory on national television and listening to the ensuing slob fest?

Dumb question. The latter and it's not close.

That's a toughie. How many Bears players get concussed in the process?

Every Bear who steps on the field because the ground is so hard

This guy here, Brett Favre is the best football player I've ever seen. Watch him step away from Julius Peppers, a Pro Bowler and fire a LAZER to Sidney Rice for a touchdown in the snow. I'm telling ya, I've seen a lot of great ones play...and NO ONE can sling the ball in there like ol' #4. Jaws, this man was ruled OUT of this game. Somehow he musters up the strength and courage to come out here and put on this performance when no one gave him a chance. The guy is superman.

favre throwing for 150 yards and 3 int's, but the bears loosing 10-9 would piss me off the most.

Oooo, that's a good one. Longwell hits a game-winner as the clock runs out.

No, check that. Gould misses a 26 yarder late because he slips as a result of the field.

Uh oh....

Favre has been upgraded to questionable and will throw about 3 hours before the game.
