My bad, I didnt realize the half was about over when I said it. ALthough after seeing our D play so far, Im not sure giving them the ball is a good idea either. Id rather trust we can make 2 yards at this point.

Bears allowed 253 yards on defense in the 1st, which is more than they allowed in the entire 1st game against the Lions.

The defense relaxed thinking the half was over after it looks like they had gotten their act together a bit. They still need to put the screws on these guys and I think they can.

 

They need to be chewed out, badly, in the locker room.

No it wasn't. It was a short, easy pass. The line just blew 2 blocks and the ball got batted.

that was a hell of a swing, though. looks like we had the game in hand and driving to make it a 2 score game and getting the ball back to start the 3rd and boom, we lose focus and we get smacked and are on our way to a close game.

the browns game was akind of a mirage and we didn't exactly dominate the rams.

Well at least the Lions were beating the Pats last week and proceeded to get their doors blown off in the 2nd half.

 

Our offense isn't as good as NE's but our D is a lot better. We should be able to squeeze these guys...I hope.

If we have leaders on defense that'll get on guys and a staff that will make good adjustments, there's really no reason we shouldn't dominate the the Stanton-led offense.

 

This is a 3rd string QB with less experience than Tyler Thigpen, less potent offensive weapons, and nothing to play for. We should clown these guys, FFS.
