Got a pair of SRO for round 2 and a pair of 300 level seats.

Do you get your deposit back if the games don't happen?

Full refund.

Ugh, the prices were insane for playoff tickets. I had to buy tickets in the 300 level behind the backboards for $100 per ticket. Insane. $75 is the cheapest seats you could buy, and the SRO seats cost $50.

I bought those 2 tickets in the 300 level for game 1 round a, 2 SRO tickets to game 2 round b, and thanks to my 1/8th share of season tickets from Garwilly, 2 tickets in the 300 level for game 2 round b.

If I'm not mistaken the Bulls hold multiple 1st round picks over the next two years given this and the aging Celtics, Spurs and Lakers, the Bulls could be poised to dominate the NBA over the next few seasons. I didn't include the Heat above, while they won't be getting old, I believe the Bulls are simply the better team. The Heat, despite the triumvirate, also have some glaring holes no bench or inside game and weak rebounding compared to the Bulls at least.

They'll fill those holes.

With what? Aren't they up against the cap? That leaves the draft and trades besides James, Wade and Bosh what do they have to trade?

They have the mid-level and bi-annual exceptions they can use to sign more players even if they're up against the cap. They can't sign any stars, but they don't need stars.

Of course, everything now depends on the new CBA, but under the current rules even teams over the cap get a mid-level exception every year to use on adding a player.

These two awesome gentlemen already answered for me.

It's the same way the Bulls will hopefully fill SG.

If they get rid of the MLE, we're screwed in that regard.

Thanks I was unware of the cap exceptions nevertheless, I'll take the Bulls.

If they get rid of the mid level, my guess is they'll be trying to trade picks/Korver or Brewer/Gibson or Asik for a SG.

From Hollinger's article today, he mentioned what could be one of the more interesting races of the last 10 games: home court advantage in the NBA Finals among the Bulls/Celtics/Heat and Lakers/Mavs. Basically, here is the tiebreaker order:

1) Record in games against each other

2) Record in games against the other's conference

3) Random drawing

Now, since the Bulls swept the Mavs, and the Mavs swept the Celtics and Heat, those tiebreakers are pretty straightforward. Also, since Miami swept the Lakers, that one is also straightforward. However, the Lakers split with the Celtics and Bulls, so it goes to the second tiebreaker.

Record vs. other conference: Lakers 21-9 (done), Bulls 20-7 (MEM,PHO,@MIN), Celtics 17-11 (@MIN,@SA).

Since the Lakers are done with the East and have fewer losses than the Celtics, the Lakers win the tiebreaker against Boston. So, all that's yet to be decided is the Bulls-Lakers tiebreaker. If the Bulls win at least 2 of their 3 West games remaining, they get it. If the Bulls lose all 3 West games, the Lakers get it. If, though, the Bulls lose 2 of 3, then the tiebreaker for home court advantage in the Finals would go to a random drawing.

Considering that the likeliest teams to make the Finals at this juncture are the Bulls and Lakers, this could become kind of a big deal.

Brave man.

The Bulls are damn good, and should be for a while, but that Heat team is going to be beast so long as Wade stays healthy.
